Why monitor IT systems?

There are many advantages to remotely monitoring IT systems.  The main one is to get an early warning of a virus attack. It can work in association with our Cloud based, fully monitored virus protection system. No virus guard can protect 100%, and all are susceptible to new viruses or human error. High disk usage, CPU peaks and increased memory usage for a sustained period is an indicator of virus attack that we can identify immediately.

There are also other issues we can monitor for – many of which take place over a longer time. It is well known in the IT industry that PCs gradually slow down over time. We can monitor your systems for high disk usage that could indicate increased use of the virtual memory – which can be alleviated with a simple and cost-effective RAM upgrade.

We can even monitor your network for cyber security – to detect unauthorised access from both inside and outside of the business.
