Introduction

Digitalquill has launched a drive to aid General Practice Doctors in their development of an Internet presence. At Digitalquill we will provide General Practitioners with high-quality, user-friendly and cost effective websites, which will not only act as a ‘shop window’ improving the image of the surgery, but will also help to improve patient care by providing information, education and communication.

The Design and development Service

At Digitalquill the team of professional website designers will design, develop and maintain your personal surgery website based on the information provided by the surgery.

Once the practice has established the information it wishes to include, an Internet address site will be assigned. The practice will be able to choose from a range of design layouts.

The Costs

The design and initiation of each web site does vary with the size of the practice, but typically costs between £500-2000, with a maintenance contract of £30-60/month. The maintenance contract covers the cost of sustaining the annual registration for each website domain name, maintenance of the site, updates and upgrades, and technical support.
