Upgrading from the old to the new multifeed datafeed import plugin
.
If you already have an old version of the simpler datafeed import plug-in, you need to add the multifeed plug-in as a new plug-in. There is no upgrade path from the old simple datafeed import plug-in to the multifeed import plug-in as this more advanced product needs additional database tables and scripts to enable it to work.

Once you have installed the plug-in you will notice that the old datafeed plug-in remains exactly as it was, meaning that any projects you have set-up in that will remain there. You can move them all across, however you will need to remove any posts that have been created with the old plug-in or accept that they will not be updated by the multifeed plug-in.
