When you have installed the plugin you will notice that under the 'Posts' menu an additional menu item shows 'Post from Amazon

Clicking this link will load up the plug-in within the Wordpress admin area. The first time you load the plug-in it will show a screen that asks you to add your Amazon API keys, you can sign up for the Amazon API keys by clicking here, it is free of charge.

Once you have added both the IDs you can optionally enter an Associate ID which will automatically add your Associate ID to all Amazon links created with the plugin, meaning you will earn commission on your referrals.
Once added you will then be taken to the template designer page where you can dictate what products to import and how the posts that are created should look.
At the top of the screen you will see that you can change your Amazon API keys and Associate ID's by clicking on the link.
The next step is to choose which Amazon category you wish to search. In my example I am wanting to import all MP3s by The Beatles, so I select MP3Downloads, choose the UK site as my site is aimed at UK users, and then enter Beatles in the Search Keywords field:
The next step is to create the template, you will see that we have given a reference to each field in the API that you can use with the plugin, that reference can be used anywhere in the template.
The Post template section allows you to build up how you want each post created by the plug-in to look. You will notice that you have all the fields you would normally have in Wordpress when creating a post, Subject, Body, Tags, Categories and custom fields.
In order to build the template you enter the reference of the field where you want that text to appear. You will probably want to use #2# (title) as your subject, but you can also add text manually if required.
The rest of the fields follow the same pattern; simply add the reference where you want the text to show. If you are adding an image or a link you simply need to add the references and not any HTML code as this is automatically generated by the plugin.

Tags and Categories can be used in the same manner. Enter the reference in the field, if you have multiple fields you want to create tags and categories from you can do so by separating them with a comma. You can also use static text in the categories and tags.
Once you are happy with the template click the ‘Process File’ button at the bottom of the window. This will then process the file. Depending on how large your datafeed file is (how many rows and columns it has) and depending on how complex your template this may take a few minutes to process, however, once it has done so it will show you a message at the top of the screen, 425 posts created.
Well done! Your site is now up and running!
