Question: I get errors when I load the first Amazon Search, what should I do?
Answer: It is most likely that your wp-content/uploads folder either does not exist or is not writable by the webserver. Wordpress should handle this when you install Wordpress but sometimes it fails. It depends on your web server what you need to do, but if you are unsure please do not hesitate to contact us and we will try to help.
Question: What happens if you release a new version of the plugin, can I upgrade?
Answer: Yes! You get free upgrades with the purchase of the plugin to all new versions of this plugin. Please make sure you keep hold of your download information as you will need this to download new versions of the plugin. We will email you when a new version is available.
Question: I see that there is a new version of the plugin, Yet Wordpress does not allow me to upgrade it like my other plugins, how do I upgrade the Amazon Import Plugin?
Answer: Wordpress has inbuilt functionality to upgrade plugins that are on the on the Wordpress Plugin directory, however, the Amazon Import Plugin is an independent plugin. When you get an email from us saying that there is a new version of the Amazon Import Plugin available, all you need to do is go to the plugins interface in your Wordpress Admin area, de-activate the plugin, tick the box next to it and then select delete from the dropdown menu at the top. This will remove the plugin files but not the data in the database so when you then install the new plugin and reactivate it, any Amazon searches you have setup will have been retained.
Under certain circumstances there maybe other upgrade requirements, however, if a particular version requires any further steps we will let you know, with instructions in an email.
